So I dropped in a pair of yellow (or maybe gold I can't tell) coral banded shrimps into my sump last week, so that they can molt a couple of times, regrow lost limbs and get a bit larger before I move them into the main tank where I have a full sized skunk cleaner shrimp.
Anyway they escaped their box (whoops on the lid) and are now hiding out between the baffles of the sump, where I also have a 6-line wrasse swimming around.
My wrasse hunts/eats sexy and peppermint shrimps, but should I be worried about the boxer shrimps, with their defensive claws? I wasn't planning on mixing them and if I had the common S. hispidus, coral banded shrimp, I wouldn't be worried, the yellow ones are just so small and their claws look bite sized.
It's going to be tough trying to catch them directly, I was planning to trapping them over the next couple of days.
