So I was checking out some of the Indo Exporter sites...and nearly crapped myself when suddenly I was seeing my photography all over this company's site! Anyone have any suggestions about how to go about convincing a company in another country to stop false advertising with my imagery?

I sent them a couple emails...simply requesting that they remove my photos.

here's the site:

lol they still think it's Christmas :)

That web site is teribley anoying with all those flashing pictures. Now my eyes are tired. I think I'll take a nap

Might be hard to take legal action, but the best thing you can do is report them to their hosting company.

Have you been able to contact them? Instead of legal action, maybe you could get them to reimburse you in some way...money or otherwise. Would be a lot cheaper for everyone involved.

"Grey hats" can sometimes be found if you look around a bit too... ;)

But personally, I'd try the suggested mutally-agreeable method of getting some financial gain from the deal first. - If that fails, then I'd try some political pressure via the larger organizations mentioned and THEN....... well......

heh mebbe some of us should independently send 'em emails voicing concern and inquiring about their readiness to defend themselves in a lawsuit ;) (just for kicks and giggles)

anything to get a horribly annoying and mis-spelled website off of the net ;)
