Good Deal

Im going this afternoon to look at a used setup. It is empty, but from what I got on the phone, this is what you get.

125g all glass, not drilled.
20g sump (seems a bit small)
external return pump
old particleboard stand (he said it needs replaced)
custom made cabinet hood
6ft lighting fixture, icecap 3x250w mh and 2x 72" VHO actenics
skimmer
powerheads

$500

Anythoughts?

well..i bought a new perfecto 125 for 170 dollars...just the tank. the rest of the stuff, you'd have to get the name brands of, specs, and condition in order to make a call on value.

IMO that sounds about right. If you were to turn around and part is all out to sell you should be able to get $500 right back for all of that stuff.
Tank $100
Skimmer $50-Maybe more but I doubt it
Lights $200
return pump $40
overflow $40
etc...... You get the point. It should be worth it

Allright, just got back from lookin.

top down
Huge custom hood made by cabinet maker, cooling fans on each end(nice, just wrong stain color)
Icecap light system 3x250w, 2x 72"vho actenic.
2 HOB overflows.
Stand does need replaced, particle board giving out.
It has a 40long sump, not a 20. Has the hang in sock, Huge skimmer that runs on a mag 5 venturi type.
no fuge, but plenty of room for one in the sump
Didnt get the namebrand of the return pump, but its large and new, he just paid $200 when his other one went out.
also he has the liverock, enought to fill the tank in a few totes, water pumps in them. Wants $575 for all including rock. Thinking of buying it to replace my 75.

Thanks X. I did end up with another 125 though. Didnt have all the gear, only the tank and homemade stand, but for $125.00
