Topic says it all. The one LPS that I got it at does not carry it anymore.

That pet place has it, but I would like to know if any other places have it and if I can get it at a better price.

try http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com

They don't have "Seaweed Selects" but they have sheets of nori which is the same exact thing. I think they sell 20 gram tubes of it for $3 or so. That compares to 30 grams of Seaweed Selects at my LFS for $8. I buy quite a bit of my food from them. They are the same place that sells the tahitian blend cryopaste and the golden pearls.

FWIW, Nathan

Opps! They are even cheaper than I remembered. A 20 gram tube is only $1.95!

Nathan,

Thanks for the prompt reply and tip. I'll have to check out their web page.

It always amazes me how expensive "pet grade" seaweed is.

"Food grade" nori is cheap enough and I bet it's *rather similar* to the "pet grade" stuff. My LFS was obtaining information to prove their nori was superior (at three times the price) to the stuff sold at Asian stores - needless to say the evidence is not available yet (must be coming by ocean swiming snail as the manufacturer was going to provide this a couple of years ago now).

You have to wonder why the green seaweed is made into nori sheets while the stuff that humans don't eat is just stuffed into the bag...
