If you have a van or alternative to transport that monster, I would recommand Tony at reef exotics.com

Or wait till used come out at selling forums.

Good luck for your upgrade.

I found glasscages on Ebay by another name. I looked into their work and was glad I did. They have a poor quality/craftsmanship record.

I think Petland is going to be my best option.

Glasscages have tanks on Ebay under the name Twinoaks02. Here is a link to one of their items:

I didnt see the ad for Petco. Someone posted that it is only for tanks on hand. I doubt they will have a 180. I'll start calling though. Thanks for the tip.

Ireefny, thanks for the stand offer but I am going to do an in-wall project with the tank. I'll have to make my own stand.

I just read the Petco circular. The sale is for combos 55gl or higher. The largest tank I have seen near me is a 75. They also have larger corner tanks.

Im using Glass Cages and am quite happy with it. Jhale uses them, Houseoflaughter, Jackson6745 and many others on the site. Granted that their Workmanship is not the same as say Miracles in Glass but at the prices GC charges I think its perfectly fine. One thing I can say is that the GC tanks are built like a brick shithouse.

Surely some have had bad experiences with the company. Badcoffee for one has had a horrendous experience. But that will be the case with most companies. Many people have a tendency to bash even though they have no experience with them at all. Its just a bandwagon thing. For sure is this: GC tanks are better built than AGA. Plus it does not hurt that yo can customize the tank to your needs.

As far as the seams go, once you have a stand and canopy on it and you have water with inhabitants, no one will notice the trim or tank cause their eyes will be drawn into the tank.

HTH,
Herman
