I put a big old raccoon butterfly in my tank to eliminate apitasia and majanos.
The fish did damn well. It also destroyed zoandthids and frogspawn, but okay.

Now I want the fish banished to the sump.

Any ideas on how to catch? It's big. 5 or 6 inches long, 4 inches tall. Active all the time.

Someone here recommended here waking up the fish in the middle of the night by suddenly switching the lights on. That way they're still half-asleep and easier to catch.

Catching fish at night is very easy IF you know where the fish sleeps and the fish is accessible. They're almost always in a trance-like state, so you can just net them or scoop them up with your hands. Instead of turning on your regular lights, find some red lights (or put a red filter on a flashlight). Fish can't see this spectrum well and sleep straight through it.
