I use it. I love the price and it seems to work well for me keeping phosphate down. I don't own a hanna meter so I am only going by my SPS color and tank health as my guide. BUT, GFO is GFO to me, whether brown, black, BLUE or RED! As long as it is what it is sold as I trust the product.

It's is exactly like Phosban in looks and tumbling characteristics. Just $15 cheaper then Phosban.

I also use it and find it great. The GFO with exporting macro algae has my phosphates very low (elos test)
