Just starting my first reef... ---> Making only minor mistakes (so far)..

Equipment:
30 gal AGA
DIY stand / hood
30 lbs dead aragonite sand
~ 15 lbs dead rock (skeletons)
2 Penguin 660 powerheads
Seaclone 100 skimmer
100w Titanium heater
DI Tap filter
Reef Crystals salt
Unknown (low-grade) lighting

(Known) Inhabitants:
2 Yellow-tailed damsels

Used to have the Mag. 350 Pro canister in the pic, but yanked it and slapped it on a FW FO.

Will be adding soon:
"Seed" LR (~ 5-10 lbs)
"Cleaner crew" snails/crabs
10 gal AGA sump (w/ DIY chambers)
Overflow box/siphon
RIO 2100 for sump return
Dual 96w PC retro w/reflector (7200K & Actinic w/ separate controls)
Another 100w Titanium heater

If I'm successful with this one, I'll start work on a 300+ I have in mind to use as a wall in the basement.
