Green lobo

I have a big green lobo I just setup a new tank due to an emergency I have had I about 1.5 yrs a a small corner is starting to show its skeleton but 98 percent of it is very healthy don't know what to due

Is the tank you had to set up fully cycled and did this tissue recession begin after you put it in this tank?

Perhaps you might have a reefing friend who can hold the piece for you until the tank gets a little more mature/established?

I used all the same live rock and all the same water

While that is very helpful, that doesn't necessarily mean the tank is cycled.
Have you tested all of your parameters? What are they?

As kathy said when did it start we need more info water quality lighting water flow feeding? Lots of variables

Got my water tested at LFS said salinity a tad high but everything else good have another lobo it's fine is that one going to die being its showing a quarter inch of skeleton and 4 or 5 inch lobo

Hey joe is it possible that another coral stung it? Maybe while you where doing the transfer it touched something? Post a pic it would be helpful.
