Green LTA for better care?

I got this anemone for my clown not two days ago and it seems to not like any spot in my tank. I didnt know the specific needs about the lighting as I only have PC 65 watt unit for now. I bought him and my clown loves him but he doesnt stay in on place in the tank. Looking for a new home or trade him for somthing? I paid nearly 50 for him because I had store credit at teh store. these are a few pics of it I know this camera is garbage





it still is healthy Im guessing because the tentacles are still big and moving. the clown loves it but i dont think im going to be able to keep it healthy with my lighting. shoot me a message if you have anything to trade for him. im new to this hobby and trying to get some of my money back thanks. you are welcome to come see him if you want to Im in babylon on long island

You may want to move that powerhead or get a cover on the intake so the anemone doesn't get sucked in and chopped to shreds. Talk about a mess if that happens.

LOL steven that powerhead is actually from a halloween decoration that pumped fake blood it is really weak but it pumps out a nice little wave. it doesnt have any suction power as there is a like a screen grate that it sucks through over most the pump. thanks for the concern though.





I bought the anemone from a place called mutts and butts in merrick. I had bought a small very small baby hippo tang there and it wasnt feeding so i brought it back and use the credit to buy the anemone. it was an extra 20 and the girl at the counter instead of making the anemone the 50 plus tax priced it at the extra 15 plus tax on the anemone. so I have a 15 dollar receipt which is all the credit they will give me on the anemone I would like to atleast get 30 for him so i didnt lose out to bad but Im worried that i will lose him completely and lose all my money. My clown has been feeding him and i see the tentacles grabbing the bits of food. but ive also heard that anemones get 90% of their food through photosythiesis so I would like to find hima new home. I open for trades maybe some lighting or somthing? Im going to be upgrading my tank soon and I need live rock. Im sorry CB747 i would take you up on the offer but i Have four stalks of kenya growing rapidly lol even under my pathetic 65 watts. I would like just some plain old live rock with the beloved hitchhikers if possible lol. I know of alot of good petstores around but even though they are good they dont like to take in new things from people as their water is shared in their whole system.

bump for the anemone.. also was thinking if you wanted clown hosting in it with the anemone for 50? i think my clown would be depressed without him anyone interested give me a calll at 631 445 8904 i need to find this anemone a home that can take care of him

iwould leave it there he will find a spot 2 days is kindda short and plus ur clown is feeding him he will be happy in time give it some time

bump for duke62 a special thanks as he is watching the anemone for me as I begin to upgrade my setup and hopefully take him back soon as possible. btw now im depressed after seeing how nice "James" setup is compared to mine. lol sorry bout that james when i called your house i was asking for duke LOL and she said dave so I said yea ok LOL sorry bout that james' tank is very nice:biggrin:
