So I bought this green slimer a while ago and it was really green. it's been in my tank for over 3 months now. The green went away and I couldn't bring the color back....so now I am wondering...is this really a green slimer? Or some acro with food coloring?

My tank's parameters are
0 for nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia,
not sure about phosphates..but I am sure the macro algae should take care of it...
it is a 24 x 24 cube with 250 MH lighting (10K).....

All my other corals and clams are doing well. And even the more sensitive purple acros are doing well too. I didn't expect a green slimer to be a tough coral to keep? Even my other kind of green color acros are green...Please let me know what you think...

Thanks!!

I dont know what my PO4 is since I dont own a test kit for it. I didn't think that was an issue since all my other corals exhibit their usual colorations.

It was sold to me as a Green Slimer and the color just faded away 2 weeks after I bought it. I thought the coral may be stressed out and could take a few weeks to recover. Now I am at month 3 and it looks like that.

MH 250W XM 10K lighting....9 inch from the light to the water...tank is like 18" deep.
Let me pick up PO4 tester then. But I would expect my other acros to lose the colors too if that's the case? Even my blue tip staghorn is still very blue on the tip.
The picture isn't great, but the color is actually more pinkish these days and not brown...
