I'm in the tank all the time; usually just a soapless rinse of my hands and forearms will suffice. But I absolutely DO wear gloves when I work with zoas, palys, and the like. If I have little cuts or abrasions on my hands (which is just about all the time), I'll wear gloves even if I touch 'em.
