Save yourself the trouble. Go with a traditional test kit. I had both of them and they were more headaches than there were worth. Calcium test kit you have to have either a pure source of water from ro/di( even with zero tds a trace of calcium could still be in the water supply which will mess results up)or lab grade water. The Hannah alk test kit just always read low
