Unlike NY,
We have plenty of fireworks going on here.


Kids from my neighbors brought out stock piles of fireworks. I mean it. It's at least 5 cartons of them. A single SUV cannot carry them all. Interestingly, even though they are playing with fire, these kids are pretty responsible-they are cleaning up the parking lot after they finish all of the stock.


It's also good that no one looks like this :afro: during the celebration.

Spent the day in Philly with my students. Just got back.

We were surrounded last night! NY knows how to fire fireworks!

Oh I did not know civilians are legal to play fireworks in NY now. When I was there, enforcement was quick to stop the ppl from taking them out of the trunks. LOL

The shows that are licensed by the government are always great in NY. I used to watch on the fire escape when I lived by the NYU hospital. When the fire works goes on, a single pyro covers the whole sky with the close proximity of the penthouse.
