Help - Cracked Glass!

Hey guys,

While cleaning today I removed one of the pains of glass from my tanks lid (cover) and i stood on it

I was wondering if there was anywhere you guys knew I could get a new piece or even a whole new lid in Long Island?

Look for the thread from Kathy on building a screen cover, the glass lids are nice but will hold heat. If you're set on replacing the lid head to Lowes, they have glass panels and will cut to size for you.

As Joe mentions the glass covers do 2 negative things for your tank..they restrict oxygen exchange greatly and they also cut down on the amount of light reaching your corals.

If possible a screen top will much better serve your tank
