HELP low alk

Each time you dose calcium you are lowering your alkalinity. Since you never add alk, you have low alk.

It's a matter of preference. I used to buy it but will make it once my ESV runs out.

Ca and alk do go hand in hand. We need to get his PO4 under control before we even bother with his alk.

yeah, but high PO4 is worse. Stop dosing.

Lois is right. Plus you don't even know how low it is. I keep mine between 6 and 8.which would probably come up as "low" on your kit.
