I've read a bunch of threads on Geminis, Tunze, DIY circulation, etc. I have a 90 gal 4 foot glass tank with fairly limited room. I want as much circulation as possible without kicking up my sand-bed.

Please provide comments on these options.

OPTION 1: 2 Seaswirls on closed circuit, 1", 1 big pump to drive them = $180x2 + $180 = $540

OPTION 2: 2 Seaswirls on closed circuit, 3/4", 1 big pump to drive them = $160x2 + $140 = $460

OPTION 3: 2 Geminis, 1 wavemaker = $90x2 + $120 = $300

OPTION 4: Big pump and PVC with solenoid switch = $180 + 30 = $210

Here is my pros/cons breakdown:

VARIETY OF WATER FLOW
Option 1: high variety (moves back and forth)
Option 2: high variety (moves back and forth)
Option 3: low variety (fixed)
Option 4: medium variety (fixed but can have multiple outputs)

PLUMBING WORK
Option 1: need to plumb to overflow
Option 2: need to plumb to overflow
Option 3: no need to plumb (drop right in)
Option 4: need to plumb to overflow

VISUAL AESTHETICS
Option 1: high (just spray portion is seen)
Option 2: high (just spray portion is seen)
Option 3: low (big suction area of pumps is seen)
Option 4: high (just PVC is seen)

Any comments or anything I haven't though of? I am still trying to decide.

Thanks,
Kris
