i am looking to for a new skimmer.what a in sump i have been looking at this AquaC EV-120 Protein Skimmer i have about $300.00 to spend on something but there are so many skimmers out there to pick from. i have a 125 gallon tank with 55 gallon sump with coarl life skimmer now. full reef tank with 10 fish tops.

It depends what animals you'll be keeping in there, specifically which corals do you plan on keeping. For a fowlr or mushroom/zoanthid or softy setup the EV 120 is plenty. You can also look into a needlewheel skimmer like the ASM, Euroreef or Octopus skimmer line.

The aqua c ev120 sucks, don't waste the $$
Look for the biggest used euroreef or asm skimmer in your budget.
