I live in a condo and my ro system is in the boiler room big enough to fix my reservoir tank and buckets and everything i need plus is next to the door leaving the apartment. So i always keep the light on and the door open for that room as an visual alarm and NEVER forget to set up an alert on my iphone. Even thought i should get a float switch Been working for me with no accidenta for over 2 years.

An ro system is a pain since it can overflow, filters need to be changed, etc. An overflow can cause house damage, which I did on the first day I got it. I believe Rob agrees, as I remember reading similar beliefs of his in another thread

Is this bizarro world? Am I superman?

The guy comes home at 12am begging for people to bring him water. Why not have a rodi system (NOT ATO) that he can just turn on and make water at any possible moment 24/7?

If you have an ATO and you overflow, youre doing it wrong. Get a 10-15g (OR SIMILAR DEPENDING ON TANK SIZE) res, fill it manually once a week and get a tunze ATO?

WORSE CASE the electronic eye on the tunze fails AND the float switch fails you end up with a few extra gallons in the tank. No worries.

+1. I keep a 32g brute full all the time. If I run low, turn it on, set an alarm, and good to go. Seems like bottled water would be way too much of a hassle. I'd go through $20-30/wk in bottled water. Never mind all those plastic bottles taking up space in a landfill somewhere.
