I had a Remora on my 30g tank. I sold it when I upgraded to a larger tank.

Is it noisey? and I probably don't need a power head to push the water in the tankwith Remora? because it is powerful enough to move the water in a 20g tank?

It's not silent

You'll need a source of additional flow...a Remora's job is not to move water, but skim it.

Umm.. the tank is in my bed room. this could be a problem if it gets loud enough :happysad:

I got a remora on my sump in my room and its not loud enough to keep me up great skimmer id say go for it

I have a AquaClear hang-on filter on my planted tetra tank in my room right now. It is very quiet, almost silent.

Would the skimmer as quiet as my AquaClear? I wish I can hear the skimmer running before I buy it. So I can get some ideas of how loud this thing is.

if this is just a 20g you could def go skimmerless and save the money- just be religous with your water changes and you'll be fine.

When you said be religous with w/c, did you 25% w/c once a week? or twice a week?

If you're going to do a 5-8 gallon water change you should be fine with once every two weeks. If you can manage 5g's a week go for it.
