Thanks for all my reef member responding...ive been a member for 10 years now...and ive always had this issue...so i basically guessed worked it even after reading alot ...we can never learn everything....but this really should be the main topic in this hobby....parameters and dosing

@neptune you want to test for your cal/alk/mag and see what your consumption is of each. I did this by testing the water everyday for 2 weeks. Once I saw my tank consumed about 10ml of each cal/alk a day I started out dosing that. Then test again for a few weeks to see where your levels fall. adjust accordingly after that.
