Help with alk

My alk is at 11.2 right now. I have done several water changes trying to bring it down but I can't. I was using kaliwasser but have discontinued. Is it possible reef crystals salt has some kind of buffer in it? My acropora is burning away and some of my polys are staying closed. All other water parameters are good except for this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks pete

Check your alkalinity on newly made salt water and you will possibly find why when you put new salt water in its higher then when you had taken it out.
