help with lighting?

i have the chance to upgrade my lighting i have t5 now should i go with more t5s or go with mh fixure the tank is 120 gallons if mh what size and how many its 60 inchs long i am keeping just sps and mushrooms and zoos please help thanks

how many bulb is your t5 now ? i had 6 bulbs on my 62g 36" long and loved them, you could go with 2 or 3 150 or 250 mh's also and use the t5's for antics

What's the depth of your tank? Does your tank measures 60 x 18 x 25? If so, your tank is a 125G.

Is your current T5 a Fixture or in a canopy. If in canopy, I would just go more T5s towards the two sides of the tank to made the light more balanced.

just go with the MH. 3x 250w should do the job.

by the way, how are those frags doing?

doing great going to call you soon. but i dont have a chiller is it going to rise my water temp to high i have a canopy on the tank

If you want to buy a chiller and spend more on electric in return for better lighting get MH if you dont want to spend the loot of want the heat get more T5's just my 2pennies
