i have a bird of paradise that refuses to color up instead of being green with purple pylops its more like greenish brown with very little pylon extension I've moved him all over the tank can't seem to find that sweet spot can anyone help me out will he ever color back up

First off stop moving it !!! Pick a good spot with good flow and light then leave it alone for 2 yrs lol !!

I think your right matt cause where he is he gets hit from three different powerheads and he's like 12 inches from the lights two 175watt MH 14k and 3 actinic blue T5 and 1 6500k T5 all 80watts how much more damn does he need lol

I agree with the others. Mine is about 8" from an mp40 and almost halfway up in the tank. Moving it is part of the issue. Most corals do good if yOu place them once and let them adjust. It may take some time but once they acclimate they will grow like crazy.
