hi guys i need ur advice here. so i own a asm mini g skimmer. i have the old model where the pump sits inside my skimmer. now my problem is i had this skimmer for about 8mths and working fine. every time i put a frag with epoxy , reef safe epoxy my skimmer goes crazy for a couple of moments but now this swap i put 11frags into my tank with epoxy and my skimmer has never been the same . i put poly filter to block off some of the micro bubbles i get into the tank. but i get zillions of bubbles its to a point that i have to have the skimmer off. i left yhe skimmer off for 5days i just did a 13g water change and still nothing.i even pulled my skimmer out to c whats going on and still the skimmer looks fine, the only thing im gettin microbubbles from the pump itself. the thing is the pump cant lock onto the asm skimmer u just place the skimmer ontop of the pump. i dont know what to do. now i have a small 10g sump , bascially water goes down my over flow to a tray and trickels down live rock and then theres my skimmer phosban and main pump. i know sucks . i should have gotten a bigger sump but it was free when i got into the hobby.i was told i can remove the tray , take out the live rock and put my skimmer there or i can pull the sump all the way to the back and try to remove from the front door and get a 30g sump long like the narrow type. what u guys think????

I don't think what kind of skimmer you are running is going to matter. I've had both a Turboflotor and and Elos skimmer (current one) and epoxy caused both of them to do this. I Recently read about this epoxy on Reef Builders. They gave it such rave reviews that I ordered some. I've used it a couple of times and my skimmer didn't even notice.
