here my tank one year later.. getting some bright green algae on my sand bed.. i dont know what the cause is ;(
i dont think im overfeeding, i feed mysis shrimp once a day and get about 3 portions from the frozen cubes. heres my parameters:
PH - 8.2
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0
my Phosphate test is a lil wierd the color i get isnt on the saltwater card but on the freshwater card and is pretty much at 0.
SG - 1.023
Temp - 78*
for circulation i have 2 koralia 3's. i have a sump with a Octopus extreme 160 skimmer, fuge with cheato. and running a phosban reactor. My fuge is growing some nuisance algae looks like diatoms or cyano.
