high calcium

how do i lower my calcium? my calcium is at 700. i have a hagen test kit i use ro water. i do not add any calcium, it is just high.

I can safely say your test kit is not working properly or there was some user error 700ppm Ca ions is not going to happen in SW. Could your test be testing for CaCO3 (which should ideally be 950-1150ppm)?

it took 36 drops to turn the color from pink to violet. it is a ca test. must be bad. cause i did it the same as i always do. usally it only take about 25 drops to turn. each drop is multipied by 20. i guess i will try again and if the results are the same i will be getting a new test kit.

I know my Aquarium Pharmecudical test kit will sometimes give false readings if I don't shake up the 2nd regent, infact I'll even notice that the liquid that comes out might be more clear than purple.
