My KH has been high (14.2) since I set my tank up 2 months ago. I tested my make up RO water and it tested out with a KH of 1, so I'm deducting this will keep my KH up correct?

It may keep up your alk for now, with a very low calcium demand. I'd still test alk weekly--as your coralline starts growing and you add corals, the systems hunger for calcium (and alk--remember, corals make calcium carbonate skeletons--that carbonate they use is essentially equivalent to alk) will probably exceed the amount added by your makeup water.
