I have a 90 Gal reef tank and would like to reduce my nitrate level. I have read about NP reducing pellets. I currently have a Phosban 150 reactor which is utilized to reduce phosphates can I fill it with the NP pellets and use it for nitrate reduction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it won't hurt adding another bag of your NP pellets in your sump then keep doing 5 gal water changes everyday until your nitrates are gone and minimize feeding your fish to every other day instead of everyday. you'll notice the difference in a couple of weeks.

Ive never used the pellets but I know you need a reactor to use them. The phos 150 will do it but Ive read that it dosent tumble them the same way as the ones designed for the pellets. I would do the water changes as suggested and cut back on feedings. Do you have a refugium?

You can try one of this option it will help reduce your nitrate level
1- Bio pellets with reactor & pump (500-1000gph)
2- Dosing vodka
3- Adding mangrove & cheato plants
4- Continue doing keep up with water change & feeding less
