Found these two on a piece of SPS that I picked up on Thursday. I dipped the coral and they still made it through. Reef safe or are they banished to the toilet?

Cool thanks. Any idea on names? Someone on another forum said the white one is an Acro Crab???

Hairy one met his untimely doom in the toilet however when I put the white back in he found a new home in the head of my MP10. Hopefully he will make it out...

yeah its an acro crab or bandit crab you want him he will clean and protect the coral.why didn't you place him back on the sps colony?

Tried my hardest to get him back on to it but he went to the MP10 instead

The first one looks like a gorilla crab. Flush it.

he's probably dying from the dip then they very rarely leave there colony. only to find a new one look for food if there not getting enough or to die

Well I got them out today without dipping the coral again. Hopefully he will find his way back to the colony
