Hole in top of deroso standpipe

so my standpipe just started gurgeling for some reason.. should i drill the hole in the top a little bigger?

A bigger hole quieted mine down. Or you could try cleaning the hole with a toothpick or something like it, as it might have salt creep buildup in it.

I drilled a hole through the side of the PVC cap on the top of mine. I drilled a bigger hole. The hole goes through the cap and the pipe. The cap is not glued in place. You can twist the cap with decrease the hole size. I think I read about this mod on Durso's website. Works great.
