How do you open up a ballast?

I have a Aquamedic dual 175w ballast that I am having problems with and I need to open it up to see what going on with it, but I have never opened up a ballast before and I have no idea where to start. Can anyone help me open this up? thanks

I didn't know this is a electronic ballast. My previous post in your other thread was direct toward a magnetic/HQI ballast, not electronic.

Its an electronic ballast.

is the Aqua medic under warranty,call them and find out,

even if you open it you cant repair them all you can look for is a open wire which i don't think is the case with electronic ballast if its under warranty get it replace

I talked to them, and it turns out there is a one year warranty and I bought it exactly one year ago to this day!! That is crazy. Its a good thing I decided to call them today.
