Hey Everyone,
My birthday passed a week ago and to my surprise, my cousin got me a blond naso tang. Pretty much because he hated how my 150 gallon tank looked empty with 3 fish (3-4 inch yellow tang/4-5 inch pink margin wrasse/3-4 inch maroon clown)...This tang is big looks to be about 6-7 inches, the yellow gave him problems in the beginning but he looks ok now. Also Im aware if the tang gets to big I will happily give/sell him away as of right now I feel that he looks happy and healthy. I would of quarantined him, but I already have a big blue tang in my 40 breeder quarantine dealing with ich...somehow he came down with icy in the quarantine tank while the water parameters are all good. Well Im trying to develop a good feeding schedule with the various medicines I recently bought that fellow members here recommended me. This is how I think my feeding schedule is going to look like:
Monday
-Nori Clip soaked in Garlic Extract for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Vitachem for 10 minutes
Tuesday
-Nori Clip soaked in garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Selcon for 10 minutes
-NLS Pellets
Wed
-Nori Clip soaked in garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Vita for 10 minutes
Thurs
-Nori Clip soaked in garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Selcon for 10 min
-NLS Pellets
Friday
- Nori clip soaked in garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Vita for one minute
Saturday
- Nori Clip soaked in Garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Selcon for 10 min
-NLS Pellets
Sunday
-Nori Clip soaked in Garlic for one minute
-Mysid Shrimp soaked in Vita for 10 min
I have NLS pellets however only the clown and naso eat them for sure, but they are very small compared to the naso. Anyone know of a good size pellets to feed the naso with?
Also anyone know the best way to have them all eat pellets or dipping it in garlic is probably the best bet?
Any other foods to add to there diets or an occasional treat?
This will be the same diet for the blue tang downstairs in quarantine
Thanks Appreciate it
