Ok so im in a middle of a upgrade and i have a reeflo snapper, and was wondering would this be good for a 300 gallon? its 2400 gph return pump, but i was wondering on going to a dart and use a manifold this time around i always had a seperate pump for each thing, reactors, cal reactor, skimmer, chiller and i felt ity was a huge waste so my ? is would a dart return pump be able to handle all this? its about a 3400 gph return pump. any info would be very helpful and thank you.

You need to also calculate all the head restriction loss when these pumps are not pure circulation use only.
An example would be when I ran a Dart through a closed loop which for all purposes is a pure circulation scenerio. Add on all the 90 degree elbows and an Oceans Motions 4-Way and my estimated output flow dropped 1000 gph from the 3600 gph at 0' head.
Putting these pumps through a manifold will decrease the output as well.

ive never really counted on return for flow in my tank and not huge on a ton of flow through the sump, my return is only coming back at about 400 gph of course i have alot smaller tank but use a gen x pc 40 to run my carbon and phos rector and return goes hrough my chiller and uv , having the chiller return straight to tank helps cause one less output and less on the manifold, also not running a alcium reactor and my recirc skimmer is feed by a mj 1200
