How much to you pay a month to run halides?

Just out of curiosity. No, I don't know my local kilowatt hour rate.

What wattage, what photoperiod, how many, and how much?

Thanks trido! Not bad at all. I'm looking at running a single 250 or 400 for about 4 hours a day for certain orchids, and I'm a poor grad student.

Don't forget to add some for the draw of the ballasts. 250w bulbs they might be but I am sure the ballasts draw a little more than that. Electronics are more efficient though.
