How much would you pay for a used 250W metal halide set up?

My friend has a PFO pendant w/ 10K DE bulb and 250W Ice Cap Electronic Ballast. He had it for about 6 months. How much would you buy it for?

When buying used equipment, I don't like paying more than 70% of the retail price if it is in good condition and I can look at it first to assure that it is in good condition. Any more than that, and I would rather just pay the extra $ to buy new.

I also would not factor in the cost of the bulb either, at the most I would tack on $10 for it.
