How to clean coraline

Hade the tank sitting with out water for about 1 year and don't want to clean with the wrong stuff. Not sure if soap will work b/c there is stuff that is realy on there. I mean hard coral that must of died when empty the tank and now is like a rock.

If you fill the tank up with vinegar and water solution let it soak for a while,, Very little elbow grease needed,,lol..

i cant fill my tank b/c its has open bulkheads in the skimmer section

ummm fill it up to the bulkhead let sit a day or 2 and or almost falls off, plugging bulkhead easier then scrubbing coraline

my skimmer sections takes water at 3" from bottom and all the way on top of tank,
I have the tank on the ground outside so I can use the hose, most all the coraline is on the skimmers sections, dont want to scrup the plastic and scratch it.

When I cleaned out my tank. I put like 2 gallons in my tank to fill up about 1/10 of the tank. Then I got paper towels and soaked them in the vinegar and just placed them on the sides after I scrubbed it. Then if you have a razor just scrape it down. Or you can use a credit card.

on the plastic overflows a razor will not work, I did try already and scratched it bad
