Hello everyone--

Its a bit embarrassing to tell the story of why I have extensive waxed pencil markings all over my acrylic tank, so lets just leave it a mystery. But now its on there, and I'm finding that a towel and elbow grease doesn't clean it effectively. Some of it comes off, but a lot gets jammed into little scatches on the outside of the tank (its kind of old), and there is even some smearing.

I'm wondering if there is a solvent to make this job easier--perhaps isopropanol? acrylic polish+buffing wheel? water?

Thanks for any suggestions.

need to make sure the solvent does not attack the acrylic.
Test it on a scrap acrylic, or on a less-obvious area of the tank.
