I'm having issues getting water into my bubble counter. K2R reactor.

If I blow water in at the top, I have to results... If I unplug the check valve at the botton, the water pisses out... if I don't, I cannot fill it against the air pressure.

Thanks

Depends on the construction, you may want to tile it at an angle and fill it up.

I ended up sucking the air out to form a vacuum, capping the tube with my thumb and then holding the tube in some water... filled itself.

Thanks

I would bend the link to make a kink to prevent water from exiting the drain line from the bubble counter. Then attach a syringe with plastic needle (common to some Salifert kits) to inject water. Once full kink the line again until hooked up as normal. Rarely more than a drop or two of water comes out.

And be sure to fill with RO/DI water, salt water tends to make creep in the bubble counter as the water evoprates over time.
