how to get pods from fuge to display?

I have had my fuge with cheato and rubble rock set up for almost 2 months now and in that time I added 5-6 bottles of copepods. Now there are thousands of these things all over my fuge. Some dont even look like copepods. I mean these things are the size of beetles! Here are my questions:

1) Are there any "bad" or harmful critters living in there? some of these suckers look scary LOL

2) How can I use these as food for my mandarin in my display tank?

I saw on another forum someone DIY a rubble rock trap

Remove any filter from your return pump and remove your sump sock and fire up your return if it's not already at max Pressure and away they go!!!
