thanks all in RG, i fragged the hydno and there is a small frag encrusted to a piece of the rock (bottom piece to the left of the bulge) I will be making it availble to the swap tomorrow on a new thread..

anyone got a clue on the worms on my snail? looks like tube worms someone said

Can you remove the hydnophora and glue him elsewhere? If not..pretty soon, you'll only have the hydnophora. Keep in mind they have stinging tentacles that will reach out and touch any coral nearby!

If you get him off that rock, might be a good idea to place the rock with the Xenia on the sandbed so it doesn't creep onto & all over your rock elsewhere :)

ID ..on what?.. the things ON the shell? Those are vermited snails (yup, snails)..basically harmless but they make a mess when they are atthering food.
