I broke my light i know which piece it is just need help....

i broke my light when part of it fell into the water...grrrrr took the light apart and found this piece to be blown. it there a place to buy replacment parts? or am i screwed and have to buy a whole brand new light?.

any help would be great pictures below.

clean it up with a toothbrush make sure its dry and try it if it dont work go to radio shack

that is a transistor. Radio Shack doesn't carry that. Search for electronics part supply store near you you might be able to buy it there. There's a electronics supply store in Green Brook, NJ I used to buy transistors like that to fix my PA power amps.

But if the whole thing was submerge under the water, chances are the big capacitor is also gone.

ok cleaned with tooth brush and re soldered one connection and now only have 1 bulb working hmm:irked:

time to go in again
