I changed my nylon sock to a regular sock and my skimmer is going Krazy

I changed my nylon sock to a regular sock and now my skimmer has beenn skimming super hard and overflowing like Krazy what should I do it was fine before i switched it's a euro reef skimmer

it is possible that the new socks had some sort of chemical on it.

imo take them out and rinse the hell out of them

stick w/ nylon. I used those large felt socks and always had nitrate issues no matter how much I cleamed them

Put in washing machine with bleach rinse twice
all will be well

I add 1/4 cup bleach with 12 socks and wash. I then run two more cycles just as a rinse.
