What is 10000°K , 14000°K and 20000°K. I always see that next to the wattage on halide lamps. I have a 20 gallon tank that is 30" long. About 10" in height. Whats wattage is good for a coral reef tank. And what is 10000°K , 14000°K and 20000°K ?

Hey quit it with the all caps! :D It makes it hard to read, and many people will simply ignore your posts.

the K ratings are for color temperature - basically, what color the lights are. Generally, the lower the K the yellower the light, the higher the K the bluer the light. Choosing a K is mostly personal choice. Your best bet is to take a look at some tanks local to you and see which you like the look of.

As for wattage, that depends on what corals you are interested in keeping.
