ick on one of my fish

I think one of my fish has a touch of ick. Hes a dark purple fish and I just noticed last night that he has a few white dots on his fins. what do I do for this? I have a reef tank. I tried to take him out last night but he so fast. Any ideas? I dont want the rest of my tank to get it.
