I was looking through a large tank of cured LR and found a large decent shaped piece with lots of bubble algae and it felt prickily.. and upon further inspection i saw this bright green thing... at first i though it was a piece of plastic and i poked it gently to find it was squishy... i tyred break off the end of the rock that had it on it but only a sliver of the rock came with it... Long story short the store was selling the rock for 699 a lb... and there were lots of snails in the tank... i bought 1 1/4 lb and stuck 10+ snails to the rock.. and i hide this lil guy inside an empty snail shell... it appears to have darkend a lot because it was a very bright green in plain day light... it has striations on it but the pics do no justice... it appears to have a mouth also... could it be a brain? i think thats what it looks like most to me... any help? thanks!

your going to need a clearer pic than that and maybe under water will help

put it in the tank then take a picture then it will do the ustice your looking for

i just spoke to him Via AIM and he said it was a greenish head not polyp so we can rule out zoo and most lps sohe says its a head like a ric but is sure its not a ric. so possible to be greenish with brown base

I was not stealing! LR comes with all sorts of hitchhikers, some more vaulable then others... the i showed the guy the polyp and he was a bit weird .. he was like its a blue ringed octopus.. you can have it jus dont touch it b/c its venomus ... he added that anything hitchhiking on the rocks in the large vat i could keep if i was willing to touch them... worms, crabs, astrea stars, etc... and the owner at the cashier didnt say anything either so im a little bit offended you posted that i could have been stealing and not pming about it... stealing is not a reputation i'd like to keep on this board, not many people know me that well and after this what do you think they'll think of me in the back of their heads... "jee wasnt that the guy who might have stole snails"...

You didnt read it wrong, you just didnt get the details of the story b/c im no j/k rolling
