aiptasia...bad. if you see one, there are probably more. get rid of them. search aiptasia and removal...many methods. aiptasia-x, joe's juice, lemon juice, vinegar, hot water, kalk paste, remove whatever it's attached to and toss it, stc.

That is a GREAT picture of what is most likely aptasia, like those before said. It is a fast - growing, fast-reproducing, stinging anemone that can hurt and damage most corals it comes into contact with. NOT a great addition to our reefs... (and I speak from experience - I've been trying to rid myself of them for YEARS)

Agreed, that's evil incarnate right there. Well, evil incarnate in the absence of predation, which includes most tanks out there.
