So I'm getting ready to set up my jelly fish tank. I'm going to add one other fish. I think it will help keep parameters in check. I'm starting small. 29 cube to see how it all goes before investing big $$. So that made me think if you had to pick one fish for a tank what would you pick. My pick is probably clown.

+1 no offense I think your wasting time and money in a 29 cube. The current you give them dictates they're movement(pita) and definitely can't keep anything but jellies together also shouldn't do sand and definitely no live rock. best of luck, maybe try moon jellies if you have your heart set on trying they seem to be the heartiest in my experience.

Not too hard to keep if setup right, no decor, salinity and temperature but also short lived in general so be prepared to add new ones regardless of how good your husbandry is. That being said a proper jelly fish tank is very, very nice and relaxing. I maintained one with color changing leds, pretty sweet all said and done.

No problem at all! Sweet already got the nice color feature down and imo easiest jellies around. I'm sure it's going to be some testing, trial and error for you to get it right. Maint things, current and no obstructive rigid objects, they get stuck and tear very easily. Also air bubbles is a major thing you do not want air bubbles in the tank and especially getting trapped inside of the jellies, it'll burn a hole through them and also inhibit them from swimming (submerging) potentially. If so you'll have to burp them, I've burped a bunch of them, its easy at least with the moons I can't speak on other jellies. I'm sure you did your research but let me know if you need anything, I'm no pro but do have some hands on experience with them.
