Inside my algae scrubber, crawling around on the floor are there 1/2" long, clear worms with a little dot of red on thier heads. I counted about a dozen of these things. Any idea what these could be? Larva of some kind?

I mean algae scrubber loosely.. its nothing more than an algae/pod farm. I have a small rio internal filter/pump pushing water back and forth into the box. The Natural Wave is a great product btw, I have a Koralia and a Nanostream plugged into ports 1 and 2 on 20 sec intervals. Port 3 is on a 40 sec interval and its feedling the farm. What happens is when the minipump shuts off, it creates a siphon because the output hose is an inch deep. Between that and the farm's overflow, it creates a cool surge action, almost like the tank is breathing through the algae box. Also, since last week when i got the Wave, algae vs. cyano ratio has completely reversed. Almost 95% cyano free. DT has always been red-slime free.

4 months and phosphate level has finally dipped below the .10 mark :) ..was stuck there for over a month.

Next investment.. an EBAY MH for $90. Any recomendations on wattage (150, 250, 400w) for a 75 gal? I was planning on getting a 2nd of the same wattage and center it over other half of tank. Also need to chose spectrum - 14k or 21k. I realize it just depends on what i wanna keep, so lets say.. sps?

Impossible to tell without a picture, but my first guess would be a species of Polychaete (harmless marine worm).
