Internal dimensions of a 29g

Anyone know the internal width of a 29g regular tank?

you can only find external dimentions on line, and they rate the gallons by these. so tanks dont hold what they claim.
my 300 is measured from the trim, so between 1/2" glass and 1/2" trim and the bottom glass and trim, inside dimentions are 70x34x 25=257 gal, far from 300.
